How much space is needed?
For glamping:
The regular tent is 16 feet diameter. You need minimum 21 x 21 feet of space for each tent.
Our XL Royal tent is 20 feet long by 13 feet wide. You need minimum 26 feet x 19 feet of space.
All tents are 10 feet high in the middle.
For teepee slumber party:
Each teepee and mattress will take 6.5 feet x 3.5 feet. They are about 5.5 feet high.
Where can I hold my event?
We only deliver to your home or backyard, the property you own.
What happens if it rains?
You can postpone it to any date (subject of availability).
What is your cancellation policy?
14 days or more before booking day get your deposit back, minus credit cards processing fees.
0 to 13 days before the event, no refund on deposit, but it can be used for another booking, different time (subject to availability).
How long does it take to set up and break down?
1 to 2 hours for glamping tents.
30 minutes to 2 hours for teepee slumber party.

How many people can sleep in an outdoor tent?
Couple or family glamping: 2 to 4 people.
Sleepover glamping: 6 people in our regular glamping tent and 8 people in our XL Royal tent.
When do you set up and pick up tents?
Set up is before 4pm.
Pick up is after 10am.
I am flexible with delivery, set up and pick up. Let us know what time works for you.
Most popular is 12 noon for set up and 12 noon next day for pick up.
What area do you serve?
Long Island, New York (Suffolk and Nassau County) and occasionally beyond (NY, NJ, CT, PA, RI)
If you are outside of Long Island, NY contact us We can deliver to you.
A travel fee will apply for events more than 25 miles from Selden, NY 11784
What payment is required?
30% deposit at the time of booking to reserve the date.
The remaining balance paid 7 days before the event.
We will not set it up without the balance paid in full prior to the event.
No exceptions.
Do you provide bedding?
You can use your own bedding or sleeping bags or
rent from us for $25 per person per rental. Please check with us.
We provide decorative pillows but can not be used for sleeping.
Important rules for glamping tents:
-Tents must be set up in your backyard. No parks, public spaces, beaches, campgrounds, condo or co-op common grounds or any other public spaces. No exceptions.
-No smoking, no eating, no drinking (except water), no shoes in the tent.
-No markers, no sharpie, no face paint, no slime in the tent.
-Tents must be set up on flat and level grassy surface.
-The tent cannot be set up on rocks, concrete, asphalt, sand or any other hard, uneven or rough surface. (With some exceptions, please contact us)
-Tents cannot be set up under: power lines or directly under any trees.
-Linen, bed sheets, sleeping pillows, blankets can be rented from Royal Backyard Glamping. Please check with us.
-Customers are responsible to cover damages and/or cleaning fees of the tent, rugs and furniture inside and outside of the tent if caused by negligence.
-Please make sure there are no sprinkler lines underground where the tent will be setup. Make sure to switch off sprinklers 24 hours prior setup and while the tent is in your backyard.
-Dog poop picked up.
Important rules for teepee:
-Make sure the floor is vacuumed
-Remove or move furniture to make room for teepees. We can not move your furniture.
-No electric outlets are needed. We use battery operated LED lights
Where I can set up the BOHO Picnic Table?
BOHO Picnic Tables can be set up indoors or outdoors.
It can be added to glamping tent package, teepee slumber party package or just stand alone table package.
Do you sanitize your equipment?
Yes.
Bed linen (pillow cases, sheets, fitted sheets, blankets and pillow protectors) are laundered and rotated
Mattresses and mattress protectors are disinfected and rotated
Glamping tents and teepees are cleaned, disinfected and rotated
How many tents can we rent from you?
We have 10 regular tents and 5 XL tents. Up to 100 people can sleep comfortably with this setup.
